Solution- Remove the files in the Entitlement Client Folder manually or using the Clear Entitlement file tool

The QB files containing the product license details are stored in the Entitlement Client folder on your system. The software processes these files during the launch to verify your identity and develops issues instantly if the files fail to run. This stops the software from connecting to the Intuit servers for data syncing. QuickBooks crashes during its launch if it cannot run the files in the entitlement client folder. You must remove the damaged files to recreate them and prevent issues while launching QuickBooks. This can be done using the Clear Entitlement file tool or manually, as described in the following steps-

  1.     Access the QB website on a web browser and download the latest Clear Entitlement File tool version on your computer.
  2.     Let its installation complete and start the tool.
  3.     Use the on-screen instructions to remove the entitlement client folder files.

  3.     Right-click the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file and select Delete.
  4.     Confirm the deletion in the dialogue box and close Run.
