Amazfit is set to introduce its latest addition to the smartwatch market, the Amazfit Pop 3S. Boasting an expansive 1.96″ AMOLED display, this upcoming device is expected to offer users a visually immersive experience with its high-end panel, featuring a resolution of 410 x 502px and a sharp pixel density of 330ppi.
In comparison to its predecessors, the GTS 4 and Bip 3/3 Pro, the Amazfit Pop 3S takes the lead with its larger screen size. The GTS 4 showcases a 1.75″ display with a pixel density of 341ppi, while the Bip 3/3 Pro is smaller with a 1.69″ display and 218ppi. The Pop 3S’s rectangular-shaped screen allows for the inclusion of a substantial amount of text from incoming notifications and app updates, enhancing user convenience.
Beyond its unassuming name, the Amazfit Pop 3S is poised to be a premium offering, featuring a 304 stainless steel strap and stainless steel buttons. The display will be protected by 2.5D glass, and users will have access to over 100 watch faces for customization, adding a touch of personal style.
The Pop 3S will also incorporate a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling users to make calls over Bluetooth. A dedicated contacts app with call history and a standard dialer will be included, further enhancing the watch’s communication capabilities. Moreover, the microphone and speaker can be utilized for interacting with a digital assistant.
In terms of health tracking, the Pop 3S offers a comprehensive range of features, including 24-hour heart rate monitoring, SpO2 measurement, and stress monitoring. Sleep tracking functionality records both light and deep sleep periods, as well as the precise times users fall asleep and wake up. Additionally, the watch offers over 100 sports modes for various fitness activities.
With an impressive battery life of up to 12 days, presumably without Always-On Display (AOD) enabled, the Amazfit Pop 3S promises extended usage before requiring a recharge.
